Reading
In our reading lessons in Spring, we will be reading Escape Pompeii. Every lesson will consist of an opportunity for the children to read and develop their prosody and comprehension skills. The children will take part in a number of activities to improve their prosody including echo and choral reading, repeated re-reading and performances. The comprehension skills we will be focusing on include visualisation, prediction, inference, summarising and making connections to prior reading and cross curricular knowledge.
