Ancient Greece Day
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic time celebrating Ancient Greek Day! The children looked incredible in their amazing costumes, bringing the spirit of ancient Greece to life. They tasted a variety of Greek foods, discovering new flavours and traditional ingredients. Everyone got creative making their own theatre masks, inspired by Greek drama, and used clay to craft pottery decorated in the classic Greek style. It was a wonderful day full of creativity, learning, and a real sense of stepping back in time!
Wollaton Hall - History Trip
We all had a fantastic time on our recent trip to Wollaton Hall! We took part in a fascinating workshop all about Ancient Greece, where we discovered how important theatre was in Greek life and even had a go at performing our own mini plays. Afterwards, we explored the museum, marvelling at the incredible animal displays, ancient fossils, and enormous dinosaur skeletons. It was a day full of learning, laughter, and curiosity — one we’ll never forget!
