ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½

We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 1st September 2025

Student Wellbeing

At ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ we support students' social, academic and emotional well-being. This is a joint responsibility between home and school.

We believe in supporting our students to become caring, considerate, compassionate and active citizens. We do this by explicitly teaching social skills that complement our school values and vision.

In order to improve teaching and learning, educators at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ have developed a strong understanding of well-being. Teachers have adapted their teaching, the learning environment and whole school practices to better meet the learning needs of our students.

At ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ we liaise regularly with external agencies and have a Counsellor (Miss Nadiyah Islam) on site every day, a Trauma and Attachment assistant (Ms Michelle Coley) to help pupils learn the skills needed to get through life and a Family Support Worker (Lorraine Whistler) who is able to help families with social care involvement, housing, benefits, domestic problems and much more. Lorraine is available by direct phone on 0115 807 7755 or by WhatsApp or Text on 07375 557517.
