Reading

Reading is essential to your child's understanding of the whole curriculum and supports their overall progress. Please try to listen to your child read as often as possible, ideally at least three times a week. You and your child can use Boom Reader to record and comment on what they have read. Once they have finished a book, they will be expected to complete a book review.

Ipads

- Charge Up: Plug in every night so your iPad is at 100% each morning.

- Stay Focused: iPads are learning devices, not gaming consoles.

ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½work

ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½work is set through SATs Companion and will be linked to your child's English and Maths learning. Children will have one week to complete and submit their homework to their teacher.

Times Tables

Quick and accurate recall of times tables is essential for success in many areas of Maths. To support this, children should practise their times tables each week at home using their TT Rock Stars login. Regular practice will build confidence, improve fluency, and provide a strong foundation for future learning.

If you have any questions about supporting your child at home, please don't hesitate to get in touch - we are always happy to help!
